Dr. R. Thomas Bowden
Dr. Bowden grew up in Beckley, WV, and graduated from the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV in 1997. He completed his residency through West Virginia University at Charleston Area Medical Center. He is Board Certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bowden opened Charleston Internal Medicine, Inc. (CIM) in July, 2001 and has been a leader in Internal Medicine care in the Kanawha Valley since that time. |

Dr. Sandra S. Brannin
Dr. Brannin joined CIM in 2003. She grew up in Charleston, WV and graduated from WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV in 2000. Dr. Brannin completed her residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV. She is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Brannin is also a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internist. |

Dr. Robert M. Eggleston
Dr. Eggleston joined Charleston Internal Medicine in March, 2009. He was born in St. Albans and obtained both his bachelor and medical degrees from West Virignia University. He graduated from the WVU School of Medicine in May of 1997. Dr. Eggleston is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine. He was a founding partner of Mountain State Medical Associates prior to joining CIM. |

Dr. John H. Lewis
Dr. Lewis joined Charleston Internal Medicine in March, 2009. He obtained his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency through the WVU/CAMC Family Medicine Residency Program in Charleston. He is board certified by the American Board of Family practice and was a founding partner of Mountain State Medical Associates prior to joining CIM. |

Dr. Katherine Calloway
Dr. Katherine Calloway joined Charleston Internal Medicine in September, 2011. Dr. Calloway completed her undergraduate work at Wake Forest University before receiving her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. She completed her residence in Family Practice at the Joan C. Edwards school of Medicine at Marshall University. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Calloway worked in the public health sector in community based planning, evaluation, and in rural health initiatives. Dr. Calloway has traveled extensively offering her medical services in foreign countries including Rwanda, Mozambique, Kosovo, Honduras and Italy. |

Tracie F. Boner, NP
Tracie joined Charleston Internal Medicine in April 2011 after receiving her MSN from West Virginia University School of Nursing in 2009. She has worked with both speciality physicans and in a primary care setting in a rural health clinic in WV. She is licensed by the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses and is Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Tracie is qualified to handle all aspects of patient care including diagnosis and treatment of health conditions, ordering laboratory and radiology testing and presecribing appropriate medication to treat a patient's condition.

Amy M. Combs, PA-C
Amy joined Charleston Internal Medicine in May 2011. She attended Mountain State Universiy in Beckley, WV where she received her B.S degree as a Physician Assistant in 2002. After completing her schooling, she worked in the hosptial setting for a number of years before moving to a primary care setting prior to joining CIM. Amy is licensed by the WV Board of Osteopathy under the Supervision of Dr. Bowden and is Certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants.
Amy has a special interest in diabetes and working with these types patients as well as treating both general acute and chronic conditions. She is qualified to both diagnosis and treat patient health issues, order laboratory and radiology testing and prescribe appropriate mediciation for patient treatment. |
